Acarajé

Afro-Brazilian speciality typical of the state of Bahia. They are small balls of dough fried in palm oil, made from feijão (a kind of bean), onion and salt.
Acarajé is one of the major components of Bahian cuisine and is served with vatapá, bobó, dried shrimp, chilli or even salad.
